STRUMINA TRAIL

We started Strumina Trail in 2014 highly motivated after several editions of Krali Marko Trails. Now the race is part of the TREX races wich includes Krali Martko Trail, Vodno-Matka Trail, Ohrid Ultra Trail and Punk's Backyard Ultra. The event is organized with help from MTB Shtip and lots of volunteers.  For the first edition we had slighty shorter route of 16km and 700m+D with 62 participants.  From the second edition and now on we introduce new route, complete circle, with 18km and 750m+D. Untill 2022 the route was clockwise and from 2023 the route is anticlockwise.  The route passes few of the most significant outdoor points of the Shtip area like spring Kurt Bunar, hill Klisebair, village Lipov Dol and spring Strumina Cheshma.  The tenth edition of Strumina Trail was held on 24.11.2024.
